Hi, I have MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) and I using Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac Pro Edition . Installed Win 10 Pro and Oracle database 12c software only , when I try configure a database give me error " ora-12560 tns protocol adapter error ". Is there any way to fixed it on parallel ?
Hello @HAMADM, This looks like an issue with your Oracle setup. Have you tried starting the 'OracleServiceORCL' service manually? You could do this by, Start -> Run -> Services.msc and locate the Oracle database service, 'OracleServiceORCL'.
Hi HAMADM, try the below steps: 1. Go to Start > Run > services.msc 2. Locate the following: OracleMTSRecoveryService > select it and click start. OracleServiceXE > select it and click start. OracleXEClrAgent > Start the service. OracleXETNSListener > Select and start the service. Now run SQL command and check how it goes.
