Order of Installing SL and 5 with XP VM?

Currently running Leopard on my MacBook Pro with Parallels 3.0. Windows XP virtual machine.

I just purchased Parallels 5 and am wondering whether I should first upgrade to Snow Leopard or to Parallels 5 -- i.e., is there a preferred order of installation? This is for work, and I am the only Mac in office; thus, it's imperative that things go as smoothly as possible with the upgrade.

I think it's better to upgrade at first on PD 5.0.
