OSX Mavericks PD7 Support?

There is already a thread here discussing the issues of PD8 running under the 10.9 DP1 release.

A patch for PD8 has been released, and there are workarounds for PD7 to run under 10.9.

Is there going to be a patch/update released for PD7 to support 10.9?

When you say it's a hack does that mean you had to use different techniques than the PD8 thread? And which thread is that by the way? In other words, how did you set it up and get it running?

Anyone come up with a solution for running PD7 on Mavericks without having to pay the $50 upgrade? Please let me know. Thanks.
