OSXFH - crash in virtual machine

I'm using OSXFH in Parallels for MAC (15.1.2) and I just did the recommended update and now I get a frozen screen in OSXFH that says...

"You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again."

..but off course this is on the virtual machine. The rest of the machine remains active and fine. A hard reboot doesn't solve the issue. I've reinstalled the toolbox. Nothing. Still same screen. Please advise.

Hi, did you reset your VM?
Also do you have the same issue without using OSXFH?

I've tried resetting the VM multiple times. Nothing happens. Same lock screen and warning.

I've also tried shutting down from the VM. Nothing.
Shut down doesn't work either.
If I simply quit OSXFH then Parellels remains open, but there's no virtual desktop and no file access.
