I have the new LG 4G Modem on Verizon. There are only drivers for Windows, so I have the connection up and running on a Win7 VM using Parallels 6. No problems there. However, I want to share the connection back into the Mac (Snow Leopard).

I have read Article ID: 5557 in the Knowledge base. I have followed it to no effect. So far I have:

    1. Used scripts to expose Parallels connections in the Mac Network panel.
    2. Setup Host Only preferences in Parallels for the desired DHCP numbers.
    3. Added a Host Only network connection to Parallels VM (now has 1 Shared and 1 Host Only).
    4. Setup Mac Network panel Host Only connection to use 192.168.0.1 as router/DNS.
    5. Located Network Connection for new LG modem in Win7 VM and told to share internet connection.

When I try to connect on the Mac I am told I cannot connect to the internet. From Terminal I cannot ping 192.168.0.1.

I've seen some other messages with similar results on the forums but there doesn't appear to have been any resolution, at least not one that is listed. Do I need to do anything different due to Win7 or Parallels 6?

    Please help.
