parallel desktop 9 bad video playback experience / possibly related to directx

Hi everyone. My problem is that it has green horizontal lines at the top and bottom of the screen everytime i try to watch a movie on parallel desktop 9. I can get rid of the green horizontal lines by disabling the directx in parallel settings, however, it will cause screen tearing to the video. I tried to install several different video playback softwares and switched to different video files, but I am still getting the same issues. Also my friend's macbook pro 15 inch has the same issue as well. my laptop is running under mountain lion and his is running under mavericks. We played the same movie on my another friend's macbook pro 13 inch retina and it turns out everything is fine. no green horizontal lines or screen tearing. So whats the real problem here? is it possible that pd9 has problems switching between integrated and dedicated graphic cards? apparently my another friend's macbook pro 13 inch retina does not have a dedicated card and possibly thats the reason the video playback looks nice on his laptop?
Does anyone encounter this issue?

Parallels Tools which includes the video drivers could be corrupted. Try reinstalling it : http://kb.parallels.com/4841

I checked out the solutions above but I am still getting the same problems.


Is is possible that parallel desktop has trouble switching between the integrated (HD4000) and dedicated (gt650m) graphic cards?

By the way, does anyone in the forum has the issues while playing movies in parallel desktop?
 
I'm having the same issue. I only installed parallels so i could use MediaBrowser with WMC7 for my movies. Every one of my movies has the horizontal green lines on the borders. It is really annoying and hard to look past. I also noticed that it does have something to do with DirectX. Let me know if you figure out the issue. Thanks.
