Parallel Tools FP Exception

I run a variety of linux OSs and I can't install the new parallels tools from build 5582. When ever I try, under any version of linux (I've tried 3, one debian based and two versions of Mandriva), I get a floating point exception from (IIRC) plutild. It's from line 83 of the installation script (ironically I can remember the line number better than the name of the process).

Is there anyway around this? Currently I'm running with the older version of parallels tools but I occasionally lose mouse tracking or keyboard input - hopefully because of the version mismatch.

I just installed a new Debian installation and installed the parallel tools.

I *STILL* get a floating point exception:

./prl-tools-installer.sh: line 86: 2709 Floating point exceptionprluserd

After that my X installation is messed up.

You can try it for yourself:

Looks like you guys simply did not test one of the most common Linux distros (??!). Please let me know your course of action. If you cannot reproduce it you have to describe in detail what you are doing because I can reproduce it very easily with the updated parallel tools you posted. If you cannot reproduce it I would like to see proof of this. Please post some screenshot.

Not trying to start a fight here, just passing on some info.
I've used Parallels 'forever.' Mainly use it for XP, which works very well for me. Linux support has always been 'ah-hemm.'
Tried out 'VirtualBox' from Sun. Great experience with Linux for me. Did the same Opensuse 11 install I did in Parallels. Tried to install the equivalent of tools. No go, but did get a message saying you need x + y package. Installed them. Viola. Everything works. Very nice piece of software!

I have installed the last upgrade, but I still have the same error:

You can see the tools-version is the old one instead the new i supposed to find in the 5636 built.

Can I hope this problem will be solved?
