Parallel version compatible with Blackberry 9800 phone

I currently have a MacPro with Mac OS Tiger version 10.. and Parallel for Desktop 3.0 for Mac with Build 5608.
It has worked fine so far so I had no reason to upgrade.
I just bought a Blackberry Phone Torch 9800 and installed the BB software to synchronise with my computer. It wont work and cannot connect to the BB with my USB cable. I tried on a PC laptop which has Windows 7 and it works perfectly.
So I am wondering if there could be uncompatibility between my current Parallel version and the BB 9800 ?
Or is it simply a problem of configuration of Parallel?
Can someone suggest the most practical solution ?
 
Dear Fdormoy, Parallels Desktop 3 may not work with all USB devices and most of usb issues were fixed in later versions of PD (4,5,6)
