I continue to have this issue and Parallels has yet to respond ever on this issue. I just upgraded to the latest build and now, I have to actually reinstall the program every time to get it to start. Parallels, can we please get an answer for this ongoing issue or at least some better support?

Hi,
in your case (and in case of Sojoweb) it seems to be a problem with permissions. Please try to repair it. It is most recommended way because likely Parallels is not the only affected application.

Or alternatively you can start the /Application/Utilities/Terminal and execute in it next commands

sudo chown root:wheel /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon.plist
sudo chmod 644 /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon.plist

and then reboot the Mac OS

Let me know if even steps with commands in terminal won't help

Eric,

Thanks for the response but I still cannot get it to start with these methods.

Any other options (besides reinstalling every time)?

Ok,
please start the Terminal again and execute in it command "ls -al /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon.plist"

Then try to start the ParallelsDesktop and when the message about failed to connect to Dispatcher will appear, choose "Send a report" and post here its ID
