Hello,
I have been using Parallels 10 with Yosemite mostly problem free since the OS and Parallels have been upgraded... until this morning. There was a Windows 7 update this morning that rendered Parallels COMPLETELY unusable. I get nothing but a black screen now and when I go into Coherence, nothing shows up.
This is a problem I've had before, only I can typically just reinstall Parallel tools and it resolves the problem. This time it's different and it's not just affecting the Coherence mode, but the whole VM. I cannot access Windows AT ALL, meaning I cannot rollback the update, or uninstall Parallel Tools.
Here's a few things I've attempted: I've restarted the VM, shut down it down, reset the VM, rebooted my Mac, upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.3 as well as attempted to reinstall Parallel Tools. Nothing has helped and the VM is not working at all!
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've contacted support (Support Code: 42596-50433), but am concerned that they will not be prompt in getting back to me based on others comments. At this point Parallels is USELESS and it is setting me WAY behind with my work...
Aside from uninstalling Parallels and attempting a full reinstall, does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you
Nick
