Parallels 10 + Coherence + El Capitan + Windows 10 Start Menu position and UI responsiveness

I am running Parallels 10 on El Capitan. I have been using Windows XP for many years on Parallels, but I just installed Windows 10 for the first time. The install was done into a PVM from a Windows 7 SP1 DVD, then I used the Windows 10 download tool on Parallels KB 122884 to upgrade.

I have a minor issue with Coherence on Windows 10:
The Windows Start Menu always appears in the same corner of my Mac's screen as the Windows start button on the Windows Desktop. This is the lower left corner of my Mac display if the Windows Taskbar is at the bottom of the Windows Desktop, or in the upper right corner of the Mac display if the Windows Taskbar is moved to the right side of the Windows desktop. With Windows XP, the Start Menu either popped up from the Mac Dock's Windows icon, or down from the Parallels icon on the Mac menu bar. Is there a way to restore the XP behavior? Does the Windows Start Menu work any different in Parallels 11?

I notice that the User Interface responsiveness of Windows 10 (both the OS and apps that are running) appears to be very inconsistent and often delayed. This happens even when Parallels is the only app running on my Mac. I am on a iMac with Core i7 and 8GB real memory. The Windows 10 VM was given 2 cores and 3GB ram, compared to 2 cores and 2GB ram for the XP VM. Window Task Manager shows only 1.1 GB Ram in use with 1.9GB available, so I don't think it's a memory issue. Has anyone who upgraded to Parallels 11 seen any changes in UI responsiveness?

Hello Davie,
Coherence view mode is designed to "remove" Windows Desktop and make Windows applications appear as if they were native Mac applications. That is the reason why Windows taskbar is by default hidden.
If you still need Windows taskbar to appear on the screen, you can activate it clicking on Parallels menu while holding the Alt button > Show Windows Taskbar.
 
Paul, thank you for your reply, but you misunderstood my question. I wan't asking about the Taskbar. I was asking about the Start Menu. In Coherence mode, when running Windows XP, the Windows Start menu either drops down from the Parallels Icon on the Mac menu bar (when that icon is alt-clicked), or pops up from the Mac Dock (when the Windows dock icon is clicked). Windows 10 is different; the start menu pops up from the same corner of the screen as it would in non-Coherence full screen mode. Is there a way to have the Win 10 Start Menu operate the same way as it does in XP?
 
Parallels Desktop 11 does support Windows 10 start menu reposition, while PD10 does not. Sorry for the trouble.
As for Windows 10 UI responsiveness - Microsoft should improve it with Windows 10 updates.
