Parallels 10 & Mac OS High Sierra

I am currently running windows 7 as VM and am trying to upgrade it to Win 10.
I have tried both adding a new VM and upgrading the existing Win 7. Both fail to complete and enter into loop of starting and stopping.
Anyone got any advice? Is this a compatibility issue?
Look forward to hearing form anyone out there.
