Parallels 10: Now 2 Applications Running to Run 1 VM?

    Hello- I'm running Parallels version 10 on my Mac with a windows VM. When I run Parallels, it seems as though Parallels now thinks I need two applications to run: The VM and Control center. Why? Version 9 doesn't require this. Is there a way to configure so it doesn't require 2 applications running at the same time?

    Hi Bill,
    You are running the virtual machine with the help of Parallels Desktop, so that control center appears on the screen. You can either close the control center or minimize it.
