From reading this forum, I know this is well-documented, but I'm adding my voice to the long list of people affected:
I just upgraded from Parallels 8 to Parallels 10, and whenever I start Windows, I experience a loud crackling, popping noise. Troubleshooting steps I have already followed:
1 - I have already stepped through the audio troubleshooting guide (here: http://kb.parallels.com/112477) (no joy)
2 - I reinstalled Parallels tools (no joy)
3 - I reinstalled Parallels (no joy).
For reference, I also experienced this in Parallels 8 with the Windows 7 install.
For the Paralles team: when will this issue be addressed (seems like an issue in Parallels Tools), and are there any workarounds -- this is REALLY annoying.
