I have read quite a few interations of the above title but nothing seems the same as what I am planning to do.
Is it possible to install a 64 bit version of windows 7 as a new VM and then import the backed up version of my existing .pvm which is currently a 32 bit version of Win 7?

If I do the above, then can I delete the old 32 bit Windows VM and all items will now be running on a new 64 bit VM?

    Hi SophiaN,
yes, you can create a new Windows 7 64 bit VM but you cannot move or import the applications from Windows 7 32 bit VM. You have to reinstall all the applications in the new VM.
