Hello,
I run a C# API in visual studio over parallels and connect to it from my mac side. I have a hosts entry for parallels, "10.211.55.3 windows". After updating to Parallels 12, I can no longer connect to my C# API on the mac side after updating, usually this is the hostname with a port such as windows:50778. Now I get an error that the site took too long to respond on my mac side. I have re-installed parallel tools and done the steps in this kb => http://kb.parallels.com/en/8978. When I try to ping my parallels VM from the mac side (ping 10.255.11.3) I get request timeouts. The windows firewall is disabled. I run in Shared networking mode.
