Hi,
I have the problem that I'm not able to asign PROFINET Device Names to devices in my local network.
I hope that anyone else is or had experienced this problem as well.
I know in the past I was able to get a list of reachable devices by selecting the network card directly (hardware/Network/source)
instead of using "common network"
There are two protocols that enable this:
1) Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), a standard IT protocol that PROFINET devices must support
2) Discovery and basic Configuration Protocol (DCP), a PROFINET standard for assigning IP addresses based on device name
What changed here during the last 3 months?
kind regards
Tobias B
