Parallels 5 and Windows 7

Hello everyone,

Hopefully this is in the correct forum, I tried to do a search and don't really know how to explain it enough to get a result.

On the Mac Desktop I have alot of parallel Icons that I do not want to see, but still want to see them on the Windows Desktop. All the searching I've done have come up with procedures on how to create shortcuts. I'm looking for the opposite.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I know this doesn't help, but I have the same issue.

If a Windows 7 program automatically adds a desktop icon it doesn't appear on my Mac desktop, but if I add a shortcut myself it appears on the mac desktop as well as the WIndows 7 one.
