Parallels 6 Coherence - Task bar flickering (windows 7)

About once a minute or so I see what looks like the Windows 7 task bar appear for a split second just above the OS X dock. Does anyone know of a way to stop this?
 
I move the dock to the left or right and don't hide the task bar. Can you tell if Windows 7 is updating the task bar like drawing a new icon or updating the time of day or whatever?
 
I moved the windows task bar to the side of the screen in window mode then switched back to coherence and the problem seems to have gone away. The task bar is still hidden in coherence and no more flickering. I also see under the "View" menu that "Hide Windows Taskbar" is not checked. Maybe that would've fixed it too.
