Parallels 6 Desktop for Mac, Win and Boot Camp

I am (was) running Mac OSx 10.6.5 and Windows 7 Pro under Boot Camp quite happily and without ANY difficulties whatsoever, that is until I installed Parallels 6 yesterday...

After receiving a copy of Parallels 6 for Christmas I decided to first install Parallels on the Mac system and ensure everything was OK before I interfered with the Boot Camp side and Windows 7 Professional, I have some valuable Windows Files I do not want to damage or loose...... (I needed to make sure Parallels was as reliable as the Promotional literature would have me believe.)

After installing Parallels to the Mac system everything works great from the Mac side, I now have a "My Boot Camp" icon on my Mac desktop and I can access my Windows files as I would expect from my Mac....... however, when I now log into to my original Windows O/S through the Boot Camp Startup Log In Screen I have a serious problem...

After approx. 2 or 3 minutes within my Windows system it completely crashes leaving only a Black Screen and a square error message telling me to "Shut Down Windows to Protect my Computer". I do not have time within Windows to diagnose or rectify any problem(s).. I believe the problem lies somewhere between a conflict between Boot Camp and Parallels Tools which were installed under the Parallels image side of Windows.

My configuration is :
iMach 27" Desktop running OSx 10.6.5 with an i5 Quad Core 2.8GHz Intel Processor and 4Gb RAM..
Parallels Desktop for Mac, Build 6.0.11992, Revision 625164 17th Dec 2010.
Windows 7 Professional Full Retail Copy 32 Bit (this is a Dual DVD 64Bit and 32Bit Package and is a Genuine Microsoft Product with which I've never had any Validation problems over two previous computers)

Has anyone got a fix where I can preserve the integrity of both Windows and the Mac under Boot Camp and safely remove Parallels and Parallels Tools from my system.. (Please, please, No recommendations to re-installl Win or Mac, I just want to get rid of Parallels and it's Tools !!...)

I have now successfully removed Parallels 6 from both my Mac and Boot Camp partitions..
All of my Data files on both Mac and Windows appear to be intact................altho Windows now has a slightly different Boot Screen, heaven knows where that came from !!!

One more question which someone may have experience of..

Is it possible to install Parallels 6 on the Mac side of a Dual Mac Windows (Boot Camp) system without Parallels taking over the Boot Camp Windows partition.......... From my experience over the past couple of days I want to leave my Windows Boot Camp intact until I have absolute confidence in Parallels 6.............
 
My Boot Camp partition did not change in any way when I set up Parallels 6 to also use it. Occasionally there are things (Apple Boot Camp related) that I have to boot into Boot Camp to install, and occasionally Parallels gives me a BSOD at startup, but no other problems.

I use Boot Camp for gaming mostly, and Parallels for work related stuff from home (so I can access stuff on my Mac).

How did you set up Parallels 6 to use your Boot Cam partition?
 
I have recently adopted Mac from Win PC's and wanted to migrate everything over to Mac, that's why I got Parallels 6 because I wanted to retain some of my Windows Files from my Mac..
When I installed Parallels from DVD on my Mac (I've forgotten the exact procedure) it asked me if I wanted to use the Boot Camp partition, of course I did, that's where my valuable files were... so I let Parallels do it's thing, all on it's own. I had to re-validate Windows, which I did successfully.... then I installed Parallels Tools in my Boot Camp partition from the VM, which it said I should do..
Everything worked fine from the Mac when I decided to use Boot Camp via the VM..
The Black Screens etc in Windows.... only occurred when I tried to log into the Boot Camp Partition via my dual Boot-Up screen (Mac or Windows) Parallels had messed up the Windows Registry BIG TIME........
I tried manually cleaning out the Windows Registry (there were HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of new entries) as best I could, I traced every Parallels File in Windows as far as I could, un-installed everything related to Parallels but in the end I had to recover the Windows Registry and Settings from a Restore Point prior to Parallels install..
I now ONLY use my Windows files via Boot Camp, it's far more reliable and much less stressful.
I'm now only PLAYING with Parallels in Mac by trying it out a few Linux Distro's....
I shall now be very wary of trusting Parallels with my Windows Files again..
Anyone want to buy a new copy of Parallels 6 Boxed...!!
