Parallels 6 .... firewire support finally??

Does anyone know if this firewire drives are finally supported in this newest version of Parallels? I would like to be able to plug in a firewire drive and have my windows XP virtual machine be able to see it instead of having to share it with my mac os folders.

There's no new Fire Wire support in Parallels Desktop 6. I use external drives that have all USB 2.0/Fire Wire 800/eSATA connections. That way I can plug it into any computer or attach it to a virtual machine.

Note that you can use the Boot Camp Hard Disk option to have a virtual machine directly access the partitions. The Boot Camp option works with external disks even though you usually can't boot using Boot Camp from external disks.
