    Running 24" iMac with 4GB memory & Core2Duo processor @2.4GB.

When I had Parallels 5 installed, the INITIAL launch (restore) of the program was 35 seconds, consistently.

With Parallels 6, same computer, same OSX version, the INITIAL launch (restore) is 55 seconds ! ! !

I thought this version was supposed to launch faster.
I have given priority to the guest OS, given 2GB memory, disabled AERO.
    Have I missed something?

    I am REALLY DISMAYED that I paid $50 for a SLOWER version of Parallels. DANG ! ! ! !

i wondered about this. my best guess is that the faster launches are for folks who are running Parallels in the 64-bit engine. i was here just trying to learn more about the benefits for folks who are in the 32-bit engine full time, but they don't separate things out like that so i don't know which benefits i'd see and which ones i wouldn't.

Can't understand why SOMEONE from Nova has not pitched in here with some help or (at least) an explanation.
