Parallels 6 Transporter USB Cable

My new IMAC and Parallels 6 arrived today. I'm now ready to start my journey from PC to MAC. In reading the documentation for using Transporter to create a virtual copy of my PC on the MAC, I understand the Parallels USB would be the best route...

The problem is I purchased Parallels 6 without the cable... I cannot find this Specific USB available for purchase anywhere. I've looked on Amazon, the Parallels Website, and I've googled for it to no avail.

What am I missing here? Can I use a generic USB or must it be a Parallels cable. If it must be a Parallels USB, where can I find one?

Parallels USB cable is not sold separately. However, it is not the only option for Transporter. You can migrate your PC to VM on a Mac over network or using external disk. See Transporter User Guide here http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v6/docs/en/Parallels_Transporter_Users_Guide.pdf, or just start it from Parallels Desktop File > Import menu and follow on screen instructions.

So the answer is that it can't be done with a standard USB cable?

I suspect the Parallels cable is a USB-on-the-go cable: Male A to Male A. I'd highly doubt that they would engineer a proprietary cable for a relatively low market volume.

Can anyone confirm?

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if there's another place to get answers from Parallels?

I'm trying to use a BELKIN USB transfer cable, but so far its not working. Windows is detecting the cable but the Parallels Transporter software is not. Of course the network transfer method is not working either because of some bizarre computer authentication problem.
