I just upgraded to both 7s and am trying to load window. the install dvd stops with a message Bootmgr is missing Press Ctrl Alt Delete to continue. This just gets me into a loop. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi JamesB48,

Welcome to forum .

This usually occur when 2 drives (not partitioned, but 2 physical HDD) are set ACTIVE.
please set BIOS HDD and Boot Sequence right .

It usually means Install DVD is corrupted.
Mount DVD to finder, open Disk Utility and verify disk.
You can also try to create iso file
