Parallels 7 Disabled on Mountain Lion (12A269)

After upgrading to the GM release of Mountain Lion OS X 10.8 (12A269) the Parallel's Desktop App has been disabled.
The icon has a big (\) on it and launching it gives an error

"You cant use this version of the application Parallels Desktop.app with this version of OS*X.You have Parallels Desktop.app 7.0."

Any ideas how to fix this? It was working with prior OSX 10.8 (pre)releases.
 
This seems to happen with every recent major OS X release [Lion, Mountain Lion]. Just re-install PDM7 right over whatever is currently there. Your Virtual Machines are unaffected.
