Parallels 7 Flashing windows on resume

Using Build 7.0.15106 on Mountain Lion 10.8.1. Before putting my MacPro to sleep, I suspend the Windows 7 Ultimate VM. When I awaken the Mac and then resume the VM, I get a continuous flashing black window on the VM. I can see the apps that were running but can't interact with them Further, multiple enumerations of the same network connection happens. See the attached screen cap.

I believe this is new behavior with either the last Parallels update or ML update. On of the apps in the suspended VM has an OpenGL detection routine. I have turned that detection off to force no OpenGL. The VM restored satisfactorily today but I don't know if it will continue to do so.

Are there any thoughts on how to avoid this problem?
