Parallels 7 to 9 upgrade

Hello!
I updated my Mac to maverics, so I had to update Parallels. I downloaded Parallels 9 and installed it. Previously I had parallels 7 and much earlier version of mac. So now, I had to activate Parallels and my activation key does not work (I have parallels 7 activation key)
What should I do now?

Yes, Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac is not compatible with Mavericks : http://kb.parallels.com/117394

Since you are having a license key Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac, you can purchase the upgrade version of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac from :

http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/

Upgrading to the latest version Parallels Desktop will not affect your Virtual Machine and you can use the same Virtual Machine after installing
Parallels Desktop 9 on your Mac.
