Parallels 7 to Parallels 10

I undersatand I can not upgrade from Parallels 7 to Parallels 10 directly.
If I am to pay the full purchase price and buy 10, will it still be able to read my current VM which was last used with Parallels 7?

Yes, your Virtual Machine and settings will remain the same even if the version of Parallels Desktop is changed.
