I don't understand why I can not allocate above 4GB ram to my boot camped Win7 Ultimate Edition 64bit. I have 8GB and would like to allocate 6 GB to my Win7.
Should I purchase VMWare to get this functionality?
It is not recommended and i may even say prohibited to assign more than 50% of RAM to your VM if you have 8GB and less. The overall performance of your Mac and vm together will degradate and you won't be able to work
