Parallels 8 and os 10.10

I have not updated to the latest Parallels but wanted to know why in version 8 you are unable to install bootcamp?

Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac is not supported on Mac OS X 10.10, could you please elaborate your question, so that we can help you better.
