Parallels 8 and Window 7 VHD

I created a windows 7 vhd file using Disk2vhd provide by Microsoft.

Then I use this code /Applications/Parallels\ Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_convert win-7.vhd
to convert the vhd file. I get this error "The source virtual machine or disk is neither a third-party virtual machine nor a third-party virtual disk."

Am I doing something wrong? Are there any other methods to make turn the vhd into a Parallels vm or an image file that Parallels can use?

I had the same problem with trying WindowsXP. What I did, instead of executing the EXE file (to unzip), use Winrar to extract the file. (so rename .exe to .rar) After doing that, running the command worked fine!
