Parallels 8 not letting me enter coherence mode?

Hello all!
I just installed parallels 8 onto my macbook pro and it was working fine until I tried to go into coherence mode. It is not that there is a message telling me that I can't, but the button itself is greyed out so that I can not click it. I can't access it from the menu bar or do the keyboard shortcut, and I was wondering if there was any way to fix this annoying hassle. Either way I love this application and I don't know what I would do without it. Thanks for the help if you respond!
 
That Does Not Fix Problem

I had the problem that every time I picked coherence it would error so I did the reinstall now it is grayed out and does not work at all - there is no service for it listed either so now what do I do??
