Parallels 8 problems

Been using and liking Parallels 8 since it came out.However due to computer problems i have now to reinstall some programs. Unfortunately cannot find version 8.

Can you help please ....

Hi Ajith
Tried downloading from that link..Everything went fine-said it was 'removing previous version' and then It suddenly refused to go any further and up popped
'error 15380'
Any suggestions please...

Thank you but that doesn't work.. the only '0' is the root one.. I had seen that before but my question still is .why will the link to installing Version 8 not work?
Is it because you have ceased to support these earlier versions. My version 8 was working fine but the link to download it is not working.

Please check if your Mac is compatible to run Parallels Desktop 8.

You could also try the Parallels Desktop uninstaller tool to remove any previous installation.

If you read my previous comments you will know that I had version 8 running well but not now...Re- Desktop uninstaller tool. -when i tried to reinstall version 8 it asked me if I wanted to uninstall previous versions. I said yes.
It sounds to me that I may have to give up on Parallels and go to Boot Camp and use that.

El Capitan Version 10.11.6 [the latest version]
As I mentioned to your colleagues,it may be better if I just use Boot Camp and forgo all these problems..

Parallels Desktop 8 is not compatible with El Capitan. You can refer this article for Host OS compatibility.

We are not sure how it worked. You can use Parallels Desktop 11 trial and check if your VM works fine.

Thanks again but I don't think Incan afford any more money on Parallels . I have seen version 11 and although it does work on El Capitan...my solution is probably Boot Camp.
