I upgrade my PD7+Win7 to PD8, everytime I restart or shutdown Win7, PD8 crashes before the logout screen appears, and it makes file system dirty, Windows runs into chkdsk status when its next boot.

Almost a clean installation of Win7, the only apps I installed are VS2010 and Kaspersky 2013.

For those who want to downgrade to PD7, you have to:

    (1) Re-install PD7. Note: PD7 won't run after the installation.
    (2) Uninstall PD7.
    (3) Install PD7 again, and your PD7 is back.

    Hi,

Just since recently same issue over here!

I've upgraded from PD7 to PD8 almost some months ago. My Windows 7 installation have always been working fine since just recently.
While performing a shutdown, Parallels 8 freezes and mostly my OS X (10.8.3) gets unresponsive also.
Only solution is trying with activity centre to kill the PD8 process, which isn't always successful.
A hard reset (using power button) of iMac is needed.

I haven't read or found any solution yet.

    Kind regards, Wim
