Hi @GermanT we would request you to follow the steps mentioned below:
    1. Shut down Parallels Desktop and back up your virtual machine(Using External hard disk or Time machine backup)
    2. Upgrade your Mac OS X to the newer version.
    3. Buy Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac from Parallels online store. (If your previous version key is for Parallels Desktop 9 or earlier, please visit the Parallels Online Store to purchase a full license for Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac)
    4. Install and activate Parallels Desktop and find .pvm to open virtual machines.

Paul thanks, I upgraded, is OK and running now. I wonder if you can advice me how to upgrade my Linux Version, I am with Ubuntu 13.04, I would like 14. Do I need to erase it?, How?, I forgot how I did the install two years ago.
