Parallels 9 won't launch

Hi, I have tried to open Parallels this morning but I get the following error:

Parallels(R) VGA-Compatible BIOS Version 3.0.2111.89721

network bootroom is installed
Trying to boot from Primary Master IDE drive ...

A disk read error occured
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to retstart

have tried rebooting but no no avail.

Hi Janine,
Please try to transfer hard drive from the existing virtual machine to an empty one and check if the issue still persisting.
