Parallels and Dynadock Docking Station

I've been using Parallels 9 for several months now with a Dynadock USB docking station and a MacBook Pro. I'm using this setup to share a second monitor and a wired network connection. It's been working great, but today for some reason every time I start Parallels, the display goes dark and the wired network disconnects. I've tried restarting the guest (windows) OS as well as the MBP itself, but the behavior persists and is consistently reproducible. Everything works fine with the Dynadock and its resources... until I resume my Parallels VM, and then everything (that uses the Dynadock) stops working.

Has something changed recently with Parallels and how it interacts with USB devices? Could I have configured something wrong by accident to cause this, and if so is there a way to reset things?

I'm running Parallels 9.0.24237 which is the latest version (not counting the new v10 that I can purchase - not planning to purchase it without knowing if at least this issue is resolved there). This is the hardware involved (which works fine, just not when my Parallels VM is running, although that was working):

Hi Steve,

Please check the Devices menu on the top of the screen when the VM is booted.
From the symptoms looks like that your devices is disconnected once the VM is booted - does it take control of it?
Click Devices -> USB -> no checkmarks should be there next to the devices you are using.

Also please try to isolate Mac from Windows: Virtual machine -> Configure -> Security Tab -> Isolate Mac from Windows
 
Thanks! Unchecking the USB options did the trick - I didn't have to Isolate Mac from Windows. Not sure why it was working before and then decided to stop yesterday, but in any case things appear to be good now. I think the issue began when I connected a USB data drive and a prompt came up asking if I wanted it to be opened in Mac or Windows - I said Windows. That must have set something somewhere that resulted in Windows grabbing the docking station USB from that point forward.
 
Great to hear that the issue is resolved.
Just for your information, you can manage USB settings in:

Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> USB tab. There are default options etc.
