Parallels crashes occasionally upon shutdown in certain circumstances

    Hello:

    If I start the VM by right-clicking on the Parallels icon in the Doc and selecting my vm to start it, after I shut it down, I occasionally get a crash dialog.

    If I start the VM by clicking on the desktop link, when I shut it down, it crashes consistently.

    Has anyone had the same issue? When I get it next time I will post the stack here.

    Hi,
    Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
    1. Remove Parallels Desktop, refer to this KB article.
    2. Reboot the Mac.
    3. Try to re-install again and check how it goes.

    FYI, I did reinstall Parallels Desktop and so far I didn't experience any crash.

    Hello, It seems that you're on outdated build of Parallels Desktop 11, please update Parallels Desktop to the latest build 11.1.0 (32312). You can update to the latest build as suggested in this article. Latest version always available here: http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd11/ Please note that Parallels Tools also needs to be updated (Actions > Update Parallels Tools).
