Parallels Desktop 17.1.1 Trial Version Crashes on Monterey 12.1 on 2009 Mini

Hello,

So I decided to try out Parallels Desktop on my 2009 Mac Mini running 12.1 Monterey because I heard that C2D Macs were still supported. When I launch the Install Parallels Desktop App, it crashes once it gets to the installing stage. Any ideas as to what is going on or possible fixes?

I downgraded to High Sierra due to other problems I was having with Monterey, and Parallels is working now.
