Hey, I don't know if anyone was listening, but suddenly with the new Parallels Standard Edition Version 20.2.0 (55872) update today, suddenly I can see my iPhone again with the Windows drivers. Thanks! Don't know if that was intentional awareness, but this is a huge unblocker for me.

    Hello,
We would normally recommend switching to Parallels Desktop Standard but since you might not be able to do so due to Company policies, you can use the following workaroud:

    1. If you are trying to create a new Linux virtual machine and are not able to or it fails you can set the number of Processors of the virtual machine to 1 and then proceed with the installation or update.
    2. To do that, you can Right-click on the Parallels Desktop icon in the dock > Control Center > Click on the Settings/Gear icon under the virtual machine name > Hardware > CPU and Memory > Change to manual > Set Processors/CPU to 1 > Boot the virtual machine andit should then complete the installation or pending update.

    Kind Regards

Performance is smooth, and the integration with macOS feels seamless. I appreciate how easy it is to run Windows apps alongside my Mac software.

Apple M3 Pro, Win 11. Despite having 'shared connection' for network device, the VM constantly loses internet connectivity even when in the background while the mac side is being used (ie so no macbook sleep issues triggering it). I have to re-select the (already showing selected) shared connection on the devices menu to reconnect internet access to the VM. Seems to be happening every few hours.

Hello, Good day! I would like to seek your assistance and guidance. I recently upgraded one of our mac vm (virtual) to mac os sequoia 15.2 version and we have parallel desktop ver 20.2.0 (55872) installed on the host. I have encountered an error wherein I can't login to my apple ID in the virtual VM. Thank you!

i am trying to instal the parallel app on a new mac with M4 chip. Used migration assistant intially, after I downloaded the 20 version, (tried with automatic installer also) and each time the app stays stuck on and gives me the rainbow loading icon witch means i cannot do anything.

any idea how to solve this? is it worked on? do you have a fixing date? did i miss a post on this topic here?

    Hello Parallel Desktop,

It has been days and we haven't heard anything from your end and this impacted our production servers. We have managed to update the macOS host to 15.3 as advised to your Knowledgebase links below and yet we are experiencing the same issue wherein we cannot login to the Apple account and signing xCode account.
As mentioned on the link https://kb.parallels.com/130167 about the xCode account, macOS Sequoia 15 as a virtual machine > # 3: Currently, this behavior is expected to be an Apple framework limitation. Do we have an update on this?

I've been using Parallels Desktop on my Mac with the Apple M4 chip for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. The performance is smooth, and I've been able to seamlessly run Windows applications alongside macOS with no noticeable lag. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the experience has really impressed me. It reminds me of when I first started my business and had to figure out how to integrate different tools and systems efficiently. If you're looking for more ways to optimize your setup or want to see how I applied similar solutions to my work, check out some of the projects I've worked on here: SE YARD Solutions. Would love to hear how others are getting along with Parallels on their Macs!
