Parallels Desktop got stuck at installing Windows [SOLVED]

Hi there!
Parallels cares deeply about the quality of our software products and the experience they provide.
This thread has been created to collaborate on the issues found in Parallels Desktop on Mac computers with Apple M3 chips. Don't hesitate to share your experience!

I downloaded the trail version of Parallels for Mac on my MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip. The software installs but when I start the app it just hangs on the initial install Windows screen. I tried rebooting and reinstalling. No joy.

Problem solved! I needed to allow the Parallels App to access certain items on the computer and the internet. Once I fixed that it is working great. In fact is the so much better than my old VMWare Fusion. Runs Win11 really fast!
