Parallels Desktop upgrade 11 to 12 very slow

After upgrading PD12 under MAC OS X Sierra the startup of parallels desktop is very slow: several minutes of loading.

If I downgrad to Paralleles Desktop 11, the slowness at loading disappears...

What's append with PD12 ?

Hi @Jean-LucC1, please go to Actions > Configure > Options > Optimization > disable Free Space: Real-time Virtual Disk Optimization.

If the "Real-time Virtual Disk Optimization" option is enabled, it may slow disk performance up to 30% (at the moment of compaction, not constantly). If the host has an SSD disk, the feature will be enabled by default for all virtual machines but will work only if it is compatible with the guest OS.

Open virtual machine configuration > switch to Options tab > Optimization tab > Set performance to Faster virtual machine; check Enable adaptive hypervisor and Tune Windows for speed. If you're not running on battery power, you can also turn on the Better performance option.

Thank you for your answer but your recommendations, does not solve the problem.
The problem of slowness exists when loading the software and does not affect when loaded virtual machines.
I unchecked the option for each vm, but the PD12 software takes 1.5 mn to boot with PD11, it's 7 seconds...

My computer :
MAC OS X Sierra on Macbook pro Retina 2014

You may also switch between graphic cards available on your Mac by following the instructions:
1. Launch the System Preferences app on your Mac and open the Energy Saver preference pane.
2.Locate the Automatic Graphics Switching checkbox at the top of the preferences pan you see and add a check mark to toggle it on, or remove the check mark to toggle it off.
Note: The changes are going to take effect immediately after you make your choice. You don't need to restart your computer.
