Hello!
i have been trying to get parallels desktop to boot without success.
What happens is that prl_client_app takes around 60% of CPU but the application is listed as not responding and the desktop does not start. Parallels has been working correctly up to this morning.
I am running parallels 5.0.9376.599993 on mac os 10.6.8.
I tried stopping and restarting parallels daemon:
sudo launchctl stop com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon
sudo launchctl start com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon
I also tried rebooting my computer.
In all the attempts to start parallels desktop the log file stops being updated at:
/gui:239:207/ creating window 0x1ce215b0
Any suggestion will be appreciated. I apologise if this question has already been answered, i did search the forum without finding it.
Many thanks,
mamo
