Parallels does not open (Black Screen)

I upgraded my MAC to Big Sur and I am having an issue connecting and opening. When I open Parallels the windows desktop does not open. I restarted the computer and I am still having the problem. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the program?

Yes, that worked for me. Reinstall Parallels 16.1.

Parallels Desktop reinstall doesn't affect virtual machines, they live in a separate folder.
Parallels Team appreciates if you can send and share with us Technical Report ID (using Help > Send Technical Data...)

Hi,

I alsos got the black screen after Big Sur upgrading ; A full uninstall / Reinstall of Parallel will recover a normal situation.
