Parallels hangs when deleting snapshots

Need a fix for this issue - when deleting old snapshots, Mac OS hangs and becomes unresponsive for a time (even with a spinning beachball). Waiting for the deletion process to get beyond 60% or so, the beachball goes away and all is normal again.

I had this problem, I cleaned the computer. I had a virus that slowed down the work of programs.

Hello, did you get any specific error? Could you provide us with the screenshot please?

Eventually, it completed. Most times it just takes a short period of time. This time it took over 30 minutes. However, I have not experienced the problem again so it is transient.

Did you try to merge snapshots?
