Parallels Image Tool

This may be a dumb question, but in Parallels Desktop 6 for mac and later, Is there a Parallels Image Tool? If so, how do I launch it?
I have seen references in the forums to this thing, usually in the context of recovering data from hdd images and merging snapshots.

Parallels 6 and 7 no longer have a separate image tool app. You can click 'Edit' under the hard drive in 'Configure' once the machine is shut down.

BUT - and help me out here - I don't see any way to generate an uncompressed HD image like the old app had. Is there a way to do this from P7?
