Parallels Network Adapter failure

I get a "limited or no connectivity" message when I try to get on line. It also says "unable to renew IP address. Contact network manager". That would be me, but I am not a Windows person and haven't a clue how to fix this. Everything has been working perfectly since September, right up to this morning.

I will appreciate any insight offered. Cheers
