Parallels not capturing all keyboard keystrokes

I have several VMs of different Linux distros and Parallels messes up my typing in all of them. It simply misses my keystrokes like crazy. This does NOT happen on my host Mac or in y Windows VM. I have to type very slowly or Parallels won't capture my keystrokes correctly. If I type "sudo" it will display "sdo" and I have to go back and retype it. Parallels leaves out the space bar a lot too.

Hi, did you tried to reinstall tools? Also please let us know which Linux version you're using.
If the issue after the tools reinstallation still persists please generate the Problem report (right after the issue reproducing) and reply us back with the report ID.

This happens in any installation of Linux in Parallels 14. I've tried, Lubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 18.04, Mint Linux (Mate), Debian. No matter what flavor of Linux I try it doesn't work.
