Parallels on MacBook Pro for students?

please help me guys!
Im starting university very soon and it requires the usage of applications like MS Project, MS Access, excel etc or formatting thesis.. is it working good on parallels just as on a windows laptop?

Hi, I'm working with MS Office on my VM very often and I didn't get any issues with it.
