Parallels Suddenly Quits

I am running Windows 7 on Parallels 10 and Yosemite. The system is intermittent. It may run for hours or just minutes and then completely crash. My Apple apps are unaffected. The only VM applications I run are the Microsoft suite which I ran for years on earlier versions of Parallels. I've reported the issue, but have been waiting weeks for any help. Any suggestions?
 
I should add, I generally run in coherence mode on an extended screen. I don't know if it is a compatibility issue or display issue that would cause such a catastophic crash.
